H&R performed duties of replacing Danielle robotic stacker working with Italian engineers at CMC Steel Birmingham, Alabama. All parts and materials were brought in by removing roof using 375 ton crane while working totally in the blind and using radios to flag crane. Equipment was set within 1/2 mm in alignment. H&R had around 60 skilled craftsmen on project working around the clock for 19 days. The project was scheduled for 28 days and was completed 9 days ahead of schedule and accident free. CMC has used this project to set corporate construction standards and reliability in contractors.
